Homeownership Rate Dips to 64.2%

According to the Census Bureau's Housing Vacancy Survey (HVS), the U.S. homeownership rate declined to 64.2% in the first quarter of 2019, which is 0.6 percentage points lower than the last quarter reading of 64.8%.
