Cost of Living Adjustment increases 2.0% in 2018, Contribution Base increased to $128,700

With the release of the CPI report this morning, we now know the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), and the contribution base for 2018. From Social Security: Social Security Announces 2.0 Percent Benefit Increase for 2018 Monthly Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits for more than 66 million Americans will increase 2.0 percent in 2018, the Social Security Administration announced today.
