Fed's Kashkari wants to see core inflation rise before any rate hike

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari said Wednesday he is looking for core inflation to tick up before the central bank raises interest rates. "I'm very interested to see core inflation," Kashkari said, according to the Wall Street Journal. "We haven't seen it yet. That's what I'm looking for."
