Yellen again refuses to give House panel information about a leak probe

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen on Monday once again refused to give information to a Congressional committee about an alleged leak of U.S. central bank deliberations in the fall of 2012, citing an on-going investigation by the Fed's Inspector General and the Justice Department. In a letter to the leadership of the House Financial Services panel, Yellen said the Fed's inspector general has told her that providing the information might harm the criminal probe and that Justice "shares that concern."
